The Selected Contractor shall perform the Work complete, in place and make ready for construction of a complete rehabilitation of the existing Clay County Utility Authority (CCUA) Doctors Lake Drive Forcemain Improvements as described in the Contract Documents. The existing forcemains along Docters Lake Drive shall always stay in operation during construction of the new forcemain, until it becomes active. The Selected Bidder shall furnish, unless otherwise noted, all necessary permits, labor, equipment and materials to complete the following: Mobilization/Demobilization, General Requirements, Bonds and Insurance. Contractor is responsible for protecting existing materials, structures, and equipment on-site during construction activity Site Work Install approximately 3,368 linear feet (LF) of new 12" forcemain PVC DR-18 by open cut. Install approximately 589 LF of new 12-inch forcemain FPVC DR-18 by horizontal directional drill (HDD). Extension of new 6" forcemain across and along Doctors Lake Drive and connection to new 12" forcemain. Disconnection of existing 4-inch forcemains from existing pipes and reconnection into proposed 12-inch forcemain. Install associated fittings, valves, and accessories with new forcemain installation as indicated on construction plans. Complete restoration of roadway, fencing, and vegetation as necessary for installation of forcemain. Complete maintenance of traffic as necessary for installation of forcemain. Complete soil erosion and sediment control as necessary for installation of forcemain.
