The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is seeking qualified contractors to submit proposals for the construction of a pavilion structure over an already established cement slab located on Sheriff's Office property. The project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance outdoor functionality and provide a weather-protected area for official use. The proposed pavilion will be 100 feet in length and 16 feet in width, built over an existing concrete slab. The pavilion will feature: o A steel roof covering the entire slab. o Treated wooden or comparable support poles set in concrete for durability and longevity. o An overall clearance height of 10 feet to the ceiling. o A finished ceiling installed beneath the roof to deter birds and insects from nesting. o Ventilation incorporated at each gable end of the structure for airflow. 3. Scope of Work The selected contractor will be responsible for: o Reviewing the site and verifying slab specifications. o Designing and constructing the pavilion per the dimensions and specifications provided. o Procuring and installing all necessary materials, including: o Steel roofing panels. o Treated support posts set and secured in concrete. o Ceiling enclosure materials suitable for outdoor use. o Gable-end vents. o Ensuring all work complies with applicable local building codes, safety regulations, and permitting requirements. o Cleaning and restoring the worksite upon project completion, including removal of all trash.
