Project Description: The project scope includes milling and resurfacing of Cheryl Road, Rennes Street and Breton Drive in Montville Township. Additional work includes repairs to and reconstructing existing drainage inlets, concrete driveway apron replacement, curb repairs, traffic striping, installing NJDOT compliant inlet hardware and replacing various lengths on sidewalk. Base bid includes approximately 17,900 square yards of 0 to 2-inch milling and approximately 2,400 tons of 9.5M64 surface course. Bids or proposals shall be made on the forms provided and attached to the specifications which shall be submitted intact and otherwise must conform to the general instructions, specifications, terms and conditions. No interpretations of the meaning of the Contract Documents will be made orally by the Engineer to any prospective bidder and any request for an interpretation must be made at least ten days prior to the date of the opening of bids Question Deadline 07/04/2025 Plans may be requested online at no cost by emailing Nick Marucci at nmarucci@montvillenj.org. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the Township of Montville, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, must be submitted with the bid by each bidder. Bid proposals must be placed in sealed opaque envelopes addressed to the Township of Montville, 195 Changebridge Road, Montville, New Jersey 07045 and marked clearly on the outside of the envelope "BID DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED, 2025 ROAD RESTORATION PROJECT (BRETON-RENNES-CHERYL)". The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the bid which is in the best interests of the Township.
