Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Montville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Project Description: To include the reconstruction of the walls of the lobby, demolition of existing walls and flooring, foundation walls and exterior sidewalls, replacement of partial foundation walls, replacement of stud walls and wood floors, replacement of brick sidewalls of stairs, removal of existing light and fire equipment and the re-installation of same, removal of ceiling grid and installation of new, installation of new insulation and siding and all other work associated with the reconstruction. Project may include repair of underground drainage piping. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the Township of Montville, or a duly executed bid bond in the amount of 10% of each bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, must be submitted with the bid by each bidder together with a Certificate of Surety evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) of the total amount of the contract. Bidder are required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. In addition must also comply with the following New Jersey Statutes: P.L. 1975, Chapter 127 (Affirmative Action Program). P.L. 1977, Chapter 33 (Statement of Ownership). N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq (NJ Prevailing Wage Act:Public Policy N.J.S.A. 40A:11-18 (American Goods and Products to be used were possible). N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 (Public Works Contractor Registration Act). P.L. 2004, Chapter 57, amending N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration Act). N.J.S.A. 19:44A-2013 (P.L. 2005,c271,s.3) New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the bid which is in the best interests of the Township. The Contractor further guarantees that all work involved will be completed within 120 calendar days after receipt ofthe Notice to Proceed except for extensions due to weather conditions.
