The proposed work includes the furnishing of materials, tools, equipment, and labor necessary for the site work of the City's Well Station No.s 3 and 4 Chemical Feed project. If the questionnaire is not received by this date and time, the general contractor will not be able to submit a bid on this project. The proposed work includes chemical feed system upgrades at the City of O'Fallon's existing Well Station Nos. 3 and 4 to implement breakpoint chlorination to improve disinfectant residual stability of treated water entering the distribution system. The project includes the addition of liquid ammonium sulfate (LAS) chemical storage and feed system and replacement of the existing gaseous chlorine system with new sodium hypochlorite storage and feed system at each well station. The project also includes chemical unloading stations, modifications to the existing ventilation, replacement of the existing SCADA PLC panels at each well station, and the associated instrumentation and electrical components.
