Sealed bids are invited for the Administrative Headquarters East Wing Elevator Modernization, at the Virginia State Police Headquarters Office located at 7700 Midlothian Tpke., North Chesterfield, VA 23235. The project is generally described as the complete modernization of an early 1970's elevator. Improvements will occur in the elevator equipment room, hoist way, elevator cab, and lobbies. Electrical, mechanical and plumbing disciplines will be required. Time for Substantial Completion: 210 Consecutive Days from Notice to Proceed. Time for Final Completion: 30 Consecutive Days After Substantial Completion. Plan Holders List not maintained. A Bid Bond is required. All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to procurement@dgs.virginia.gov no later than 5:00 P.M. July 14, 2025. No questions will be answered by phone. The Owner's small business requirement is 42%. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
