Robb Elementary Hallway Floor Replacement The Keystone Central School District is accepting proposals for the replacement of approximately 11,500 sq ft of existing vinyl flooring with an epoxy flake system in the basement and first floor hallways at Robb Elementary School 400 East Church Street, Lock Haven, PA 17745 Questions may be directed to the Purchasing Department at 570-893-4900, Opt. 1, Ext. 2301, or via email to purchasing@kcsd.us. A Addendums & Questions are addressed on our Keystone Central Website Service is to be provided under this proposal are as follows: 1) The Keystone Central School District proposes to enter into an agreement with a contractor to provide services to replace existing vinyl flooring with an epoxy flake system. 2) The purpose of this proposal is to provide professional service to demo the existing flooring to bare concrete, then replace it with a new epoxy flake floor system. 3) Approximately 3,500 sq ft of epoxy with six inch cove base and 8,000 sq ft of epoxy without. 4) Contractor is to provide all necessary labor, material and disposal. 5) Contractor is required to dispose of all waste in accordance with all laws and regulations of the Commonwealth of PA. 6) Concrete surface profile must be met so that it is suitable for application and adhesion. 7) Saw cut and use crack filler to fill all cracks so that the existing concrete floor is seamless. 8) Apply surface primer. 9) Apply epoxy with Moisture Vapor Barrier (MVB). 10) Apply flakes, color choice is FB-310 Orbit. Two separate broadcasts. 11) Apply two separate grout coats. 12) Finish with a urethane coat. 13) Contractor shall carry insurance applying to all operations by them, their agents and employees, and shall provide proof of such coverage. 14) Contractor is responsible for protection of glass and other surfaces 15) Pennsylvania prevailing wages will apply.
