Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The project consists of the Youngdale wellfield development, new well control buildings, interconnection to the filtration plant, telemetry, instrumentation, electrical work, and all required appurtenances. The project consists of developing two (2) new groundwater wells, sitework, construction of new well control buildings at each well, interconnection to the filtration plant piping, flow meters, control valves, telemetry, instrumentation, new electrical power service, power and control wiring for each well, motor control equipment, emergency power generator and all associated appurtenances located in Wayne Township, Clinton County, PA. The project also includes the installation of a pressure reducing station, also located in Wayne Township, Clinton County, PA. Bidders must comply with the Super Cross Cutter Requirements for PennVEST Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan programs, the US Department of Labor Davis-Bacon Wage Determination, the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, and American Iron and Steel Requirements. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Bank Check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid. Successful bidders must execute the Agreement and furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and provide required insurance coverage. All bonds shall be executed by sureties listed in "Circular 570 - Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties in Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies". Question Deadline 12/12/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The Work to be completed under this Contract consists of furnishing and installing all plant, labor and materials for General-Mechanical Work associated with the Well Buildings, PRV Station and Plant Interconnect as set forth on the Drawings and as specified herein. The Work to be completed includes, but is not limited to, the following general items: 1. All site and demolition work associated with the wells, well buildings, filtration plant and PRV station within the limit of work as shown on the Drawings including clearing and grubbing, earthmoving, topsoil seeding and mulching, excavation, dewatering, backfill, roadways, site piping, fencing, site restoration, soil erosion and sedimentation control, site improvements, paving, fencing, etc. as specified in Divisions 02, 31 and 32 and shown on the Drawings. 2. All cast-in-place reinforced concrete and pre-cast concrete work as shown on the Drawings and specified in Division 03. This work will include all concrete equipment pads and miscellaneous site concrete associated with the mechanical work. The Electrical Contractor is responsible for all concrete associated with the electrical work as shown on the drawings, including electrical equipment housekeeping pads and miscellaneous site concrete. 3. All building-architectural work as shown on the Drawings and as specified in Divisions 04 through 09. 4. All related special construction work specified in Division 13: Special Construction and as shown on the Drawings. 5. All mechanical process equipment specified in Division 11 and 40 as shown on the Drawings. 6. All process interconnections as specified in Divisions 33 and 40 and as shown on the Drawings. 7. HVAC and plumbing work as indicated on the Drawings and as specified herein.
