The project consists of 10,000 ft. of 12" - 16" diameter HDPE and ductile iron waterline and all required appurtenances. Question Deadline 12/12/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing Copies of the contract and bidding documents, including plans and specifications, must be obtained directly from the Engineer for the bid to be considered. Bidders must comply with all Super Cross Cutter Requirements for projects funded by the PennVEST Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan programs, and employees must be paid not less than minimum wage rates as set by the US Department of Labor, Davis-Bacon Wage Determination. The Contractor must use or furnish only steel products produced in the United States per the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act and American Iron and Steel Requirements. Each bid must include a Certified or Bank Check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, naming the City of Lock Haven as payee or obligee. Successful bidders must execute the Agreement and provide Performance and Payment Bonds, each at 100% of the Contract Price, as well as evidence of insurance coverage as required. All bonds must be executed by sureties named in "Circular 570 - Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties in Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies." Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked as per instructions.
