Proposals are requested for Contract 2026-1 for the William T. Piper Memorial Airport, specifically for the "Rehab Terminal Apron." Bids must be submitted using the prescribed forms and must include a bid guarantee of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, which may be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or other negotiable instrument. The successful bidder must commence work within ten days of notification to proceed and complete all work within 30 calendar days of such notification. All work is subject to the regulations related to nondiscrimination in Federally assisted programs and must comply with U.S. Department of Transportation requirements, including those relating to Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation. Bidders are required to list all firms providing quotes, including DBE status and other business information. Upon notification of bid acceptance, the successful bidder must enter into the Agreement and provide the required contract bond and insurance documentation within fifteen days. Wages as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor must be paid for all labor under this contract. The City of Lock Haven reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive informalities.
