The purpose of this unsealed quick quote is to solicit bids/quotes to establish from qualified contractor to provide preventive maintenance services, emergency services and "on-call" repair services for makes and models of heating and hot water boilers located at the Commonwealth Center for Children and Adolescents. Anticipated start date will begin August 1, 2025. The Commonwealth Centerfor Children and Adolescents is located in Staunton, Virginia, and is an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, CCCA is under the Direction of the Department of Behavioural Health and Development Services located in Richmond, VA. Procurement Purview is under the direction of the Department of General Services Purchasing and Supplies. As an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia all State Agencies are mandated to follow the Agency Procurement and Surplus Property Manual (APSPM) and Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA). The initial term of this contract will be for 1 (one) year period, service date will start 8/1/25 through 7/30/26 with an option to renew for four (4) successive one-year periods under the terms and conditions of the original contract. Written notice for intention to renew shall be given approximately 90 days before the expiration date of each contract period. All Contractors entering State Owned Property are required to have a certificate of insurance on file. Bidder shall be fully responsible for understanding all aspects of the Quick Quote to include the Specifications, Terms and Conditions before submitting a Bid. It shall be the Bidder's sole responsibility to inquire and obtain clarification if the Bidder does not fully understand Quick Quote requirements. Bidders understand that the Terms and Conditions prevail, and a Bidders Terms and Conditions will not be accepted. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, materials, supplies and incidental to provide PM, CM, and emergency repairs on the Agency's Boiler equipment listed in Attachment 1. All replacement parts that are used in the corrective maintenance completed by the Contractor or a secondary source shall be warranted as specified by the manufacturer or the supplier. Bidder shall be fully responsible for understanding all aspects of the Quick Quote to include the Specifications, Terms and Conditions before submitting a Bid. It shall be the Bidder's sole responsibility to inquire and obtain clarification if the Bidder does not fully understand Quick Quote requirements.
