Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a multi-residential development in Staunton, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a multi-residential development; for the demolition of a multi-residential development; for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
The Staunton Redevelopment and Housing Authority (SRHA) is soliciting proposals from experienced and qualified development partners for the expansion and rehabilitation of the Farrier Court Apartments. Farrier Court, converted to Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Project Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) in 2015, currently operates under HUD's PBRA program. The proposed expansion units will be funded through HUD’s Project-Based Voucher (PBV) program to increase the affordable housing stock in Staunton. SRHA seeks a partner to plan, finance, and implement the addition of PBV-subsidized units on or near the Farrier Court site while also evaluating the viability of modernizing the existing RAD PBRA units to meet current standards of livability, energy efficiency, and accessibility. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
