The Work of Providing Labor, Equipment, and Material for Proposed Leighton Collection System Upgrade and Rehabilitation Project - Contract No. 3 Telemetry Upgrades Project Cwsrf Project No. Fs010853-02. The Principal Items of Work Are Detailed Herein Below:1. Furnish and Install Telemetry Upgrades. 2. Provide a Minimum of One (1) Day Training. No Re-funds Will Be Made Except to Prime Contractor Bidders, Which Shall Be Refunded for One Bid Set. The Successful Bidden Must Furnish a Performance Bond for One Hundred (100%) of the Bid Amount and a Payment Bond for One Hundred (100%) Per-cent of the Bid Amount and Must Secure His Bond From a Bonding Company's Representative or Agent in the State of Alabama. No Bid May Be Withdrawn After the Time for Opening Bids Has Passed. The Owner Reserves the Right to Hold the Bids for a Period of Sixty (60) Days After the Date of Receiving the Bids. The Contractor is Hereby Advised That Time is of the Essence on This Project and That the Con-tract Time of 60 Consecutive Calendar Days Total and Noted Restrictions Shall Be Strictly Observed. Liqui-dated Damages Will Be Assessed if Con-tract Time is Exceeded. The Contractor May Apply for an Extension of Time in Accordance With the Provisions of the Con-tract; However, Such an Ex-tension Must Be Approved Prior to the Contract Completion Date to Avoid the Mposition of Liquidated Damages. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Informal-ty in Any Bid, and to Accept Any Bid Considered Advandageous to the Owner.
