As of September 04, 2025, the project was awarded to Rock Road Companies Inc., with an awarded amount of $689,811.02. Reconstruction. The work for which bids are asked includes the following: APPROXIMATELY: 5,250 SY PAVEMENT REMOVAL, 1,100 SY CONCRETE PAVEMETN REMOVAL, 1,500 SY SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY REMOVAL, 1,900 LF OF CURB AND GUTTER REMOVAL, 2,300 CY OF COMMON EXCAVATION, 3,500 TON OF AGGREGATE, 1,400 TONS OF HMA PAVEMENT, 5,550 LF OF CURB AND GUTTER, 760 SY OF CONCRETE SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY, 1450 LF OF ROAD PAINT, 2 EA STORM INLET, 30 LF OF 12-INCH RCP STORM SEWER, AND MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS ASSOCIATED WITH ABOVE WORK. BID SECURITY: A certified check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the City of Beloit in the amount of 5% of the Bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee, that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the Agreement, the Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, as required by the Contract Documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award of the Contract by the City of Beloit. Failure of the part of the Bidder to do so will result in forfeiture of the Bidder's certified check or Bid Bond to the City of Beloit as liquidated damages. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond acceptable to the City of Beloit for 110% of the Contract Price for each of the above Bonds, in accordance with the requirement of the Contract Documents. BID REJECTION: The City of Beloit reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, or to accept the bid or bids, which best serve the interests of the City of Beloit. BID WITHDRAWAL: No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening of the bids without the consent of the City of Beloit. All Bidders must execute and file a Bidder's Proof of Responsibility Questionnaire no later than the close of business on Wednesday, July 16 which is seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening.
