All work items must be completed by May 31,2026. The intent of this project is to replace the existing pump house, all interior utilities, as well as replacing existing valves on the storage tank at the Sula Ranger Station. Also, the project will install a new dedicated supply water line to the storage tank. This project is located on the Bitterroot National Forest, Darby / Sula Ranger District. The Sula Ranger District is located approximately 38 miles South of Darby, MT. From Darby, drive south on US 93 approximately 38.3 miles, and turn left into the parking lot of the ranger station. (See Project Vicinity Map Attachment 3) The intent of this project is to replace the existing pumphouse, all interior utilities, as well as replacing existing valves on the storage tank at the Sula Ranger Station. Also, the project will install a new dedicated supply water line to the storage tank. The Sula Ranger Station is located on the Darby / Sula Ranger District of the Bitterroot National Forest. The work involved with this project includes, but is not limited to, excavating and preparing foundations, erosion control measures, constructing wood framed structures, trenching, installing supply lines, plumbing, installing water system controls, electrical wiring, and revegetation of disturbed areas Project Location. This project is located on the Bitterroot National Forest, Darby / Sula Ranger District A. This project is located at the Sula Ranger Station. The address is 7338 US HWY 93, Sula, MT 59871 approximately 36 miles south of Hamilton, MT. Base Bid includes the following: Demolishing the existing pump house and abandoning in-place the existing 2-inch supply line that connects to the 6-inch main line. Installing a new pre-cast concrete pump house placed next to the location of the existing pump house. Installation of new pump house internal piping, electrical, controls (converting existing float controls to a pressure transducer) and heating. Connecting the new pump house piping to the existing well. Installation of a new dedicated water supply line to the existing 29,000-gallon water storage tank.
