Renovation of a municipal facility in Trenton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 194,210-square-foot, nine-story above grade municipal facility.

In Accordance With N.j.s.a. 52:32-2, This Project Shall Be Bid as a Single Bid (Lump Sum All Trades). Bidder Itself Must Be Classified in the Following Trade(S) or It Must Name Subcontractor(S) for the Following Trade(S): Structural Steel & Ornamental Iron (C029) Plumbing (C030) Hvacr (C032) Electrical (C047).Failure to list all of the required DPMC Classified sub-contractors will render the bid non-responsive. A list of Classified Contractors / Sub-Contractors is available at online. If your firm is not classified with DPMC, you can apply for DPMC classification at online. The fee schedule is available on the web site. All fees are directly payable to online. Pursuant to N.J.A.C. 17:13, this project has been designated as a Small Business Set-Aside Opportunity. All Bidders Must Be Classified With Dpmc With One of the Following Trades: Single Bid (Lump Sum All Trades) General Construction (C008) or General Construction/ Alterations & Additions (C009) Cce: $26,981,600 This contract includes a goal of awarding 25 percent of the total contract value to a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) at either the prime or subcontract level. The firm determined to be the lowest responsible bidder must produce copies of approval notice from the Division of Revenue and Enterprises Services designating the prime or subcontracting firm as a Small Business Enterprise prior to the award of contract. Further information with regard to the SBE goals for this project will be available within Bulletin B of the Bid Documents. Bidders must be classified by the Division under N.J.S.A. 52:35-1 et seq and must submit bid security as provided in Instructions to Bidders and General Conditions, Revised December 2015. No bidder may withdraw its bid for 60 calendar days after the opening. The State may reject any and all bids in accordance with applicable law. The Minority Percentage Goal Requirement for This Contract is 30% Per Skilled Craft. The female percentage goal requirement for this contract is 6.9% Per skilled craft. In submitting its proposal, a bidder may designate specific information as not subject to disclosure. However, such bidder must have a good faith legal and/ or factual basis to assert that such designated portions of its proposal (i) are proprietary and confidential financial or commercial information or trade secrets or (ii) must not be disclosed to protect the personal privacy of an identified individual. The location in the proposal of any such designation should be clearly stated in a cover letter, and a redacted copy of the proposal should be provided. The State reserves the right to make the determination as to what is proprietary or confidential, and will advise the winning bidder accordingly. The State will not honor any attempt by a winning bidder to designate its entire proposal as proprietary, confidential and/or to claim copyright protection for its entire proposal. In the event of any challenge to the winning bidder's assertion of confidentiality with which the State does not concur, the bidder shall be solely responsible for defending its designation.
