Renovation of a mixed-use development in Marianna, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and playground / park / athletic field.
The Project includes the following Work: Part A involves the removal of asbestos containing plaster and floor tiles inside the historic office supply building located at 4423 Constitution Lane. Contractor or subcontractor must be properly licensed for removal of asbestos of lead paint. Part B involves stabilization repairs to an existing brick wall damaged by Hurricane Michael located near 4426 Lafayette Street. A new wall façade is to be constructed utilizing cold-form steel frame and stucco façade. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Small business and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the sub contracting process. Any Contracts/subcontracts issued under this procurement must comply with the necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible, in accordance with 2 CFR 200.321. All employees of the bidder, as well as all employees of any subcontractors working on the project, must provide documentation verifying their legal status and eligibility to work in the United States through the E-Verify system.
