Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Marianna, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Jackson County Sheriff's Office intends to select a Construction Management firm for the New Jackson County Sheriff's Office. The individual project assigned under this contract will have an estimated construction cost of approximately $19,000,000. The responsibility for submitting a response to this RFP #001 to Jackson County Sheriff's Office, on or before the stipulated time and date, will be solely and strictly the responsibility of the Proposer. Jackson County Sheriff's Office will in no way be responsible for delays caused by the United States Postal Service or by any other delivery service or occurrence. Any proposals received after the stipulated time and date will not be accepted, and/or opened and will be returned to the Proposer. Interested Construction Managers should submit in writing a request for RFP #001 Packets to Alex Wyno, CRA Architects, via email to awyno@craarchitects.com. At the time of Advertisements being published, the owner requests to not be contacted by respondents, agents of respondents, or anyone on behalf of respondents during the selection process time. Any party engaging in contacting the Sheriff's staff or county officials/employees on their behalf for the purpose or in regards to this project may be disqualified from participating in this RFP process. This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by federal funds awarded to Jackson County from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development federal award number 14.228 (FC Grant #MT), state funds from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Grant Agreement 3W016, and County leveraged funds. Small business and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process. Any Contracts/subcontracts issued under this procurement must comply with the necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used when possible, in accordance with 2 CFR 200.321. Parts of the work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 USC 1701u (Section 3).
