Site work for a mixed-use development in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.

Northside Pool Renovations (Contract No. 1) Borough of Waynesboro (Borough) hereby invites sealed bids for the necessary construction services to complete selective renovations on the existing swimming pool with work located at the Borough's Northside Park off of Brown Street in Waynesboro, PA. All bids must be made on the official bid form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. Original and One Copy shall be Submitted. This is a lump sum bid as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: Provide all necessary mobilization, site preparation, demolition, construction and cleanup work associated with the Swimming Pool renovations and reconstruction as detailed in the bid documents. Work scope defined under the Base Bid shall include but is not necessarily limited to erection and delivery onto the premises of any equipment or apparatus furnished, preparations of site access, all necessary demolition work and new equipment/ systems identified within the bid documents. This shall include mobilization, demobilization and site preparation, provide/install new Swimming pool and pool decking, modifications including repairs to the pool shell, select replacement of various recirculation, filtration, and chemical systems/ equipment for the Swimming pool, all electrical work for newly installed items per NEC 680 code, Swimming Pool equipment modifications, pool piping improvements new skimmer piping and pressure testing of main drain and return piping, a new pool finish, various repairs to the existing waterslide and structure, new fittings (main drains and skimmers), and a Bid Alternate to add piping for a future splash pad construction project. Work should also include various repairs to the site at the front entrance which should include an added ADA ramp and additional deck drainage. Scope shall include temporary storage and protection, progress inspection approvals, replacement of any landscape areas that were destroyed during mobilization/demolition/construction, pressure testing of pool piping, and filling of the Swimming pool along with the final testing and calibration of pool equipment after construction. Contractors that obtain Contract Documents from a source other than the Issuing Office must notify the Issuing Office to be placed on the official Plan Holders List to receive Addenda and other Bid correspondence. Bids received from Contractors will be evaluated for completeness and may be rejected if deemed inaccurate to the project's scope of work (including Bid Addenda). The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21,1968, and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804). Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids.
