If they do not get the plans and specs directly from Craig Snyder their bid will be rejected. The project consists of draining, cleaning, blasting and recoating a 3,500,000 gallon steel reservoir tank interior; power washing, power tool cleaning, spot priming, and overcoating the tank exterior; installation of a fall protection device; coating and caulking of the concrete foundation; coating, sealing, and caulking of the exposed top, sides, and interior of the valve vault; overcoating piping within the valve vault; and miscellaneous signage. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank money order, or bid bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the total bid. Bidders are subject to the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act" and Prevailing Wage Act, and must comply with all applicable provisions of Pennsylvania wage laws. Contractors must ensure non-discrimination in employment. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids.
