Divisions 1 and 2 - Well Nos. 3, 4, and 5 and Water Treatment Plant: Construction of improvements to rehabilitate Well No. 3, plug and abandon Well No. 4, construction of a new municipal water supply well, and improvements to rehabilitate the water treatment plant. The project also includes the installation of a pitless unit, submersible pump and motor, raw water main piping, flow meter manhole, connection to the existing raw water main, installation of an emergency backup generator, installation of a liquid propane tank, erosion control, and site restoration. The project also includes the removal of pumping equipment, rehabilitation of Well No. 3, replacement of pumping equipment, installation of a pressure transducer, raw water main piping, and flow meter. The project also includes installation of new loss of head pressure gauges, new magnetic flow meter, removal and replacement of high service pumps equipped with VFDs, and masonry repointing and repainting of the Water Treatment Plant. The project also includes plugging and abandoning of Well No. 4 and the demolition of Well No. 4 well house. Division 3 - Water Tower: Construction of a new water tower to replace the existing standpipe. This includes clearing and grubbing, site grading, tower construction, approximately 90 feet of 8-inch water main, hydrant, connection to the existing water distribution system, abandonment of the existing standpipe connection, erosion control, and site restoration.
