In response to the impacts of the 2018 Camp Fire, Butte County Resource Conservation District (BCRCD) in collaboration with the Plumas National Forest (PNF) has developed a number of fuels reduction and risk mitigation projects on PNF lands. The project area has burned multiple times and the treatment of these areas is in response to vigorous brush regrowth within the project boundary. This work will create a landscape that is ready for maintenance through the utilization of prescribed fire. Work includes brush lop and scatter, brush hand cut and pile, maintenance and creation of handlines, and in-unit hazardous tree felling. After Notice to Proceed is issued through September 30th, 2025. Question Submission: Wednesday, July 2nd at 5:00 PM. Contractors may submit questions by email to julia@bcrcd.org before Wednesday, July 2nd at 5:00 PM. All pertinent questions will be answered and shared via email with all of the other contractors who attended the mandatory pre-proposal site visit.
