Renovation of a service station / car wash facility in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a service station / car wash facility.

The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to select one or more electric vehicle charging systems as qualified products to be specified for upcoming improvements to public facilities. Five (5) electric vehicle charging stations will be installed on the exterior wall of an existing building at 704 Glover Avenue, Urbana, Illinois. result in the City purchasing a product. Instead, the City will specify the selected product(s) in an upcoming invitation to bid (ITB). Question Deadline 07/21/2025 at 5:00 PM CT All questions pertaining to this request shall be submitted in writing through electronically. Question Response Deadline: July 22, 2025, 5:00pm. All questions submitted and answers provided shall be electronically . The City reserves the right to reject any and all submittals, or any part therof, and to waive any technicalities or informalities deemed to be in the best interests of the City; any such decision shall be considered final. In order to verify responsible vendor status, the City may request additional information and/or conduct interviews/discussions with any respondent who makes an acceptable or potentially acceptable submittal. The City may make such investigations as it deems appropriate to determine the ability of the Vendor to perform the work, and the Vendor shall furnish the City all such information and data for this purpose as the City may request. The City reserves the right to reject any submittal if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of such Vendor fails to satisfy the City that such Vendor is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein. The Village of Croton-on-Hudson (the "Village") wishes to resurface various roadways located within the Village limits. 1.2. All Bids as defined herein shall conform to the Specifications and requirements of this Bid package. Failure to follow all instructions contained herein will cause the Bid to be considered "non-responsive" and, therefore, the Bid may be unacceptable. All parts not specifically mentioned herein, but that are necessary to provide labor assistance for the construction of the addition at the Harmon Firehouse, shall be furnished and shall conform to the quality expected by the Village. 1.3. The scope of this work is on the street segments listed below followingthe listing. Work includes milling of asphalt and paving. On each of the segments listed, the Contractor shall: o Maintain two-way vehicular traffic at all times during this work, unless otherwise pre- approved by the Engineer. o Mill asphalt to a depth of approximately 2". Milling depths may be adjusted by the Engineer based on field conditions discovered during construction. o Provide street sweeping during milling work to keep dust and debris at a minimum. o Provide temporary asphalt around existing utility structures (including valve boxes, manholes, etc.), driveways and intersections after milling. o After milling, make repairs to areas of deteriorated pavement base, as directed by the Engineer. o Place approximately 2" of asphalt top course as directed by the Engineer 1. List the software compatible with the product, if there is more than one. 2. Differentiate between basic, required software and optional upgrades or enhancements. 3. Describe compatibility and connectivity between the charging system software and other software platforms, such as OpenGov Enterprise Asset Management, Wex, and Tyler Munis. 4. Describe software services offered, including installation, configuration, training, and ongoing technical support. QA - 7/22/25: The product specifications section under the project documents tab provides a description of the EV charger specifications. The City is planning to install (5) EV charging stations to provide (10) charging points at a time. Each EV charging station (1) is a level 2 dual port charger, (2) has a total output of 40 KW (20 KW output per port), and (3) operates at 208 V, single-phase AC and is fed by two 100 A circuit breakers (one circuit breaker per each port). However, bidders are encouraged to suggest variations to these preliminary EV charger specifications to achieve compatibility with their proposed products.
