A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Project consists of construction of a new well facility with pump room, two chemical rooms, a generator room, and two bathrooms; modifying the pressure relief valve at the Swan Creek PRV Station; removing the hydropneumatics pressure tank and modifying the chemical injection location at Well No. 7; modifying the automated controls for Well Nos. 10 and 11; and replacing the remote monitoring equipment controllers and radios at up to twelve water utility facilities. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Treasurer of the City of Fitchburg, as a guarantee that the bidder, if the bid is accepted, will execute and file the proposed Contract and Bond within 15 calendar days after award of the Contract. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the total bid price, together with an executed Contract in form prescribed by the City of Fitchburg, will be required of the successful bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Question Deadline 07/22/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
