As of September 08, 2025. Bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. No definite date for the rebid. The City of Fitchburg (City) is soliciting proposals for the purchase, installation, configuration, implementation, and optimization of an A/V update for two public meeting rooms. The purpose of the project is to update our two public meeting rooms with an updated AV system. This update should match other public meeting room spaces that have this type of AV technology already in-place. Each room will need presentation capabilities, sound system, hybrid meetings capacities and updates to existing equipment in these rooms including remote camera systems, audio system, and AV output to FACTv The project shall generally include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Building surveys and/or walkthroughs to determine appropriate display monitor locations, current infrastructure and cabling for each location. 2. Specification of cameras, microphones, mounts, projector, TV's, hardware, software, and other necessary equipment required for the systems in each meeting rooms 3. Preliminary design letter, report, and/or drawings to identifying proposed solutions and cost. 4. Installation of equipment in the two meeting rooms. 5. User training on system hardware and software. 6. Design and performance acceptance tests plus system optimization work under supervision of Project Director. 7. In-room controller for AV system. 8. Tablet for controlling AV system for FACTv. 9.
