Contract for Disaster Debris Removal and Recovery Services The Contract Work will be located generally throughout the City of Zachary. Questions relative to the Request for Proposal packages shall be addressed, in writing to Barowka & Bonura Engineers & Consultants, LLC, c/o Jeffrey Bonura, P.E., 209 Canal Street, Metairie, Louisiana, 70005 or via email at jbonura@bbecllc.com. Only those proposers that have obtained the official Request for Proposal packages from the above address will be considered. The successful proposer will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Certificates of Insurance will also be required as specified. The Contract Work comprises the removal of disaster related debris and disaster recovery services from scattered sites throughout the City of Zachary until December 31, 2027 with up to two (2) one-year extension options. Proposals: Eligible firms must have demonstrated experience in managing FEMA reimbursable debris removal projects. Individual Request for Proposal packages are available for the service stated above. The City of Zachary will receive proposals from Proposers having specific experience and qualifications in the area identified in the solicitation. For consideration, proposals for this project must contain evidence of the Proposers experience and abilities in the specified area and other disciplines directly related to the proposed services. Other information required by the City of Zachary may be included elsewhere in the solicitation. The Request for Proposals does not commit the City to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a proposal, or to procure or contract for the articles of goods and services. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of the Request for Proposals, to negotiate with all qualified Proposers, or to cancel in part or its entirety the Request for Proposals, if it is in the best interests of the City to do so.
