Purpose and Scope of Services ground water conditions and provide geotechnical engineering recommendations for the foundation design and construction for the proposed Metal Building. Our scope of services includes the following: 1) drilling and sampling of 3 borings -to depths of 5 to 22 feet; 2) observation ofthe ground water conditions during drilling operations; 3) performing laboratory tests such as Atterberg Limits, Unconfmed Compression and Moisture Content tests; 4) review and evaluation ofthe field and laboratory test programs during their execution with modifications ofthese programs, when necessary, to adjust to subsurface conditions revealed by them; 5) compilation, generalization and analysis of the field and laboratory data in relation to the project requirements; The purpose of our geotechnical investigation was to evaluate the site's subsurface andestimation ofpotential vertical movements; 7) development of recommendations for the design, construction, and earthwork phases ofproject; 8) preparation of a written geotechnical engineering report for use by the documents, and specifications. THIS PROJECT IS AN INTERIOR RENOVATION TO AN EXISTING 5,700 SF METAL BUILDING THAT IS USED AS OFFICE SPACE. THIS PROJECT INCLUDES A PRE-ENGINEERED METAL BUILDING ADDITION TO THE EXISTING STRUCTURE THAT WILL INCREASE THE OFFICE SPACE BY 300 SF. THE INTERIOR RENOVATION SQUARE FOOTAGE IS 3,180 SF.
