Taxiway B is the parallel taxiway serving Runway 16L-34R. Taxiway B is constructed of rapidly deteriorating asphalt pavement that is at the end of its useful life. This project will rehabilitate 6500 linear feet of Taxiways B, B1, B3, and B4 to current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) design standards. The Pavement Condition Index (PCI) indicates Taxiway B, B1, B3, and B4 are in "Poor" condition. Taxiway Romeo is to be removed and relocated to meet current FAA design standards. This project will include pavement markings, drainage improvements, signage, and lighting upgrades. The project is included in the City's 2025-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of July 16, 2025, per owner, project design in 2026 and construction in 2027. Design team to be determined. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
