Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Eugene, Oregon. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Development of this new neighborhood park site near River Road will expand parks and recreation opportunities in the area. Improvements will be informed by a community engagement process and may include walkways, a children's play area, habitat enhancement, informal river access, and site furniture. Previous project funding came from the 2018 Parks and Recreation Bond. The project is included in the City's 2026-2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of July 8, 2025, project is funded for FY2028/2029. Community Engagement expected to begin in 2026, with construction in 2029. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
