The project primarily includes the following: Furnish an 8 ft x 20 ft steel storage container; Site grading for container base and drainage to natural slopes; Provide a 500 gpm diesel engine pump, 40 feet of semi-rigid 6-inch suction hose, 500 feet of 4-inch lay flat discharge hose, 10,000-gallon polyethylene tank and miscellaneous appurtenances The Work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all plant, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, and manufactured articles, and furnishing all labor, transportation, and services including fuel, power, water, and essential communications, and performing all work or other operations required for the fulfillment of the Contract in strict accordance with the Contract Documents. The Work shall be complete and all work, materials, and services not expressly indicated or called for in the Contract Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work in good faith shall be provided by the Contractor as though originally so indicated at no increase in cost to the District. The location of work is entirely within the Lake Berryessa Resort Improvement District (District) in Napa County. See drawings for further information. No bid will be considered unless it is made on a blank form furnished by the District Engineer and is made in accordance with the provisions of the proposal requirements and conditions set forth under the Standard Specifications of the State California, Department of Transportation, except as modified by the Special Provisions. A bid guarantee in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a Labor and Material Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price with good and sufficient surety. Each bidder must be licensed as required by law. The Contractor shall possess a contractor's Class "A" license at the time of contract award. Contractors are required to sign-in at the meeting site to be eligible to bid; and eligible bidders are required to complete and submit the Site Visit Affidavit found in the Proposal Form pages with their bids.
