2025 Pavement Maintenance Program. Each bid must contain the following: 1) The full name and names of the party or parties (Non-Collusion Affidavit); 2) In the case of a corporation not chartered in Ohio, with a proper certificate that such corporation is authorized to do business in Ohio (Articles of Incorporation - listing principals); 3) Be accompanied by a certified or cashiers' check on a solvent bank made payable to the order of the Village of Hunting Valley in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, or by a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, drawn in favor of the Village of Hunting Valley. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex, national origin or disability. The bid check or bid bond, as the case may be, will be held as a guarantee that, if the bid proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into between the bidder and the Village of Hunting Valley, and if not, the amount represented thereby, shall be forfeited to the Village of Hunting Valley as liquidated damages. Performance Bond in the amount or anticipated amount of the contract; Evidence of General Liability Insurance from a company licensed by the State of Ohio in the amount of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) for any accidental occurrence arising out of any act or omission by the Contractor which causes bodily harm or property damage, and shall cause the Village to be named as an additional insured on the policy; and Evidence of Workers' Compensation coverage. The Village of Hunting Valley reserves the right to consider criteria other than price, to reject any and all proposals and to waive any informality in the bids received.
