Collection, Transportation, Disposal, Marketing and Processing of Municipal Solid Waste, Single Stream Recyclable Materials, and Yard Waste. All Requests for Information shall be submitted online via PennBID by 2:00 p.m. on July 21, 2025, to allow time to post an addendum on PennBID. No responses will be provided for requests received after that time or submitted by other means Bid surety in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid for the three (3) year contract price shall accompany each bid. A cashier's check, certified check, or bid bond will be accepted, made payable to Wyomissing Borough. The successful bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total three (3) year contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of Bid. Said bond may be drawn down each year by the amount of the contract fulfilled. All bonds are subject to approval by the Borough Solicitor. The Wyomissing Borough Council reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid that may not be in the best interest of the public. Employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex, or national origin. PLEASE NOTE: Informational sheets containing the current collection schedule have been included at the back of this document that list each street in the Borough and where municipal solid waste, recyclables, yard waste and bulk waste is to be collected, as well as the total landfill tonnage, recycling tonnage, and yard waste tonnage collected in the past few years.
