Bid is cancelled Cancellation Description This solicitation (Dubois Reroofing of Housing Units/1240LT25Q0040) is being cancelled.The reason for cancellation is that additional scope needs to be added to account for possible Asbestos remediation and underlayment removal.Addition to the scope requires an internal Moratorium Review process that ultimately relies on DOGE approval.This process can take up to two months.It is anticipated that this project will be re-solicited at a later date in the 2026 Fiscal Year.The Forest Service appreciates the interest shown in this project and encourages everyone to watch for a re-solicitation in the future. Caribou-Targhee Dubois Reroofing of Housing Units This is a solicitation for the above project. Below is a description of the work to be performed. Please view the full solicitiation and supporting documents attached to this notice. SCOPE OF CONTRACT A. This project includes removing and replacing metal roofs on 7 housing units at the Dubois Administrative Site. B. The work includes tearing off and disposing of the existing roofing (down to the sheathing) and installation of new metal roofing, flashing, ridge vent, ice and water shield, vented soffit, and fascia on 5 dwellings and 2 garages. C. Item 061000 will be paid for the actual quantity of sheathing replaced in case that sheathing beneath the roofing is found to be damaged. Contractors should read the entire solicitation to include supporting documents attached to this notice to ensure full understanding of all the pertinent details. MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Between $100,000 and $250,000. SITE VISIT July 16, 2025 @ 10:00 AM MT - Meeting Place is: 98 N Oakley ST. Dubois ID, 83423.
