This project has been awarded to C. Overaa & Co. and is currently in construction. Overaa Construction is Construction Manager/General contractor (CM/GC) for Lawrence Berkeley National Lab (LBNL) for this project which consists of replacing Building 54 which currently houses their cafeteria. The intent of this project is to prepare the site for the construction of a new facility that will take the place of Building 54. Due to multiple funding sources between LBNL and the Department of Energy for this project all bidders will need to identify and provide in their proposals each scope of work and the corresponding cost between the (2) funding sources. The scope for this project is shown in (2) sets of drawings that are titled 1.Transit Hub & Utilities Project (THUP) and 2.New Facility Prep (SSM A).
