DESCRIPTION OF WORK: the existing building general exhaust fan ef-33 (sx-1) will not be replaced. the two supply fans will be replaced with a fan wall/array system as shown on the drawings. A new DDC (ALC) control system will also be provided for the new units and future HVAC equipment replacement. The project is replacement of DWDI supply fans (SSF-1 and SSF-2) and exhaust fans serving the south side of the McCone hall. The supply fans SSF-1 and SSF-2 are located in the south mechanical room while the exhaust fans are located in the exhaust fan room. The existing building general exhaust fan EF-33 (SX-1) will not be replaced. A minimum of three (3) and a maximum of five (5) comparable projects with a construction value at award of $900,000 or greater, completed in the past five (5) years that demonstrate the bidder's ability to successfully complete the project with respect to project size, cost, use, complexity, etc. DO NOT include projects currently under construction. All submitted projects must be within the immediate nine Bay Area counties (Defined as Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin ,Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties, California). Original Bid Bond Must Be Received Within Two (2) Business Days of Bid Deadline at: Capital Projects, University of California, Berkeley, 1995 University Avenue, Room 530, Berkeley, Ca 94704. The successful Bidder shall pay all persons providing construction services and/or any labor on site, including any University location, no less than the UC Fair Wage (defined as $15 per hour) and shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local working condition requirements.
