Site work for a water / sewer project in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of the construction of a new 1 MG concrete water storage tank including all civil, demolition, mechanical and electrical work and appurtenances. "This project is being supported in part, by federal award number SLFRP2851 awarded to Lycoming County by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Bidders are advised that this project is being financed by the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority . The attention of the Bidders is also directed to the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and the Super Cross Cutter Requirements for Construction Projects funded under the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund loan programs. Bidders must submit DBE contact and commitment documentation with the Bid.. Contractors must demonstrate the Six Good Faith Efforts to identify and solicit DBE firms that are potential sources for any procurement action in the areas of project construction, equipment, services and supplies by including state qualified small businesses and minority and women owned business enterprises in the bidding process. Notice is given that not less than the minimum wage rates set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid to employees on this project in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates. The Contractor is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act of 1978, P.L. 6, as amended as well as American Iron and Steel Requirements as amended. The Act and amendments require that the Contractor use or furnish only steel products (as defined in the Act and amendments) which have been produced in the United States. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of Borough of Montoursville, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. The Bidder shall include the fully completed Non Collusion Affidavit with the bid. The Successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish performance and payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, all in the respective forms provided in the Bidding Documents. The successful Bidder must furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the Bidding Documents. Doc notes: Hard copy sets of Bidding Documents can be obtained from the Engineer upon payment for each set of a non-refundable fee of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00). Payment is also accepted using VISA or MasterCard; there will be an additional charge for express delivery requests. Addenda, if any, will be issued to officially registered Bidders on record at the Issuing Office as having obtained Bidding Documents. Bidders must contact Issuing Office for a Bid to be considered. Bids may be held by the Borough of Montoursville for up to 90 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The Borough of Montoursville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate contract amounts. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage applies to this Project.
