In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work: . Sewer trenchless rehabilitation, including heavy cleaning, spot repairs, base slab repairs, sliplining, geopolymer spray-applied liner, and Cured-in-Place-Pipe (CIPP); . Construction of a temporary access shaft to facilitate sewer rehabilitation efforts; . Removal of hanging ductile iron pipes within a box culvert; . Open-cut replacement of combined sewers; . Construction of new sewers, manholes, and a sanitary lateral connection; . Collection system improvements, including: 13 regulator modifications; 1 regulator replacement; 1 new flow divider; 11 regulator abandonments For a more detailed project scope, please refer to the Contract Drawings, Specification Section 01 11 00 Summary of Work, and the rest of the Contract Documents. The NEORSD reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received. Bidders shall review the Instructions to Bidders and all other contract documents prior to submitting a bid for this project. The Contract will be subject to the NEORSD policies and goals regarding the use of minority, women, and small business enterprises (MBE/WBE/SBE). These policies are contained in the Contract Specifications. The MBE/WBE/SBE goals for this Contract are 15% MBE/WBE and 5% SBE. For this Project, NEORSD will not award a contract for any bid in excess of twenty percent (20%) above the Estimate of Probable Construction Cost.
