Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the full amount of the Bid or a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Letter of Credit in an amount equal to ten percent of the Bid, as designated in Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The Bid Guarantee shall be furnished as surety that if the Bid Proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of said Construction will be secured within the specified time. Bid Guarantees will be retained until a contract is properly executed by the successful bidder. Bids together with the Bid Guarantee must be sealed in an envelope and endorsed. The Contractor shall take into account that the construction of these improvements is a high priority for the Village of Cuyahoga Heights, and that some of the funding is dependent upon the Contractor performing the work in the timeframe outlined in the Contract. The successful bidding Contractor shall commence with construction improvements no later then June 15, 2025, and shall be substantially complete prior to September 15, 2025, and final site clean-up and permanent restoration by September 30, 2025
