Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Norton Shores, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Norton Shores is soliciting bids for the Labor, material, equipment, architectural fees and permits for the Resurfacing of the (3) main parking lots and striping of the lots, including the lower spaces at the city's Ross Park. THE SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not limited to: Sitework: o Parking Lot Cleaning o Property Management o Concrete Repair The contractor will be responsible for: o Hot Pour Rubber Crack Fill o Seal Coating o Concrete Repair o Catch Basin Repair o Concrete Sawing o Sign Installation o Asphalt Repair o Parking Lot Striping (437 regular) (11) HDCP, (8) No Parking, (4) Corner Hash. Contractor will Mill at Concrete and limits of Resurface, Place Bituminous Tack Coat for proper bond, and pave with 2" Average Course of Hot Mix Asphalt. Each firm submitting a proposal agrees that it shall not withdraw its proposal for ninety (90) days, commencing on the date of proposal opening. The City reserves the right to reject any proposals, waive any informality in the submission of a proposal or non-conformity with the proposal requirements, award the contract as the City deems in the best interests, and negotiate with the selected proponent.
