Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Morland, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

General: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for the construction/improvements at the wastewater lagoon facility. The general overall project improvements include construction staking, mobilization, erosion control, approximately 7.5 acres of grass seeding, corrosion resistant liners, telemetry, and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete the improvements as shown and specified. Bid Security will be required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Alternate No. 1: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for installing 2,907 square yards Rock RipRap slope erosion protection on the sides of the primary treatment lagoon cells, therefore deleting Concrete slope erosion protection. Alternate No. 2: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for installing 3,559 square yards Rock RipRap or Crushed Concrete slope erosion protection on the sides of the storage cell. Wastewater Lagoon Facility Improvements: Work includes furnishing all the labor, materials, and equipment for the wastewater lagoon facility improvements. The improvements include approximately 16,930 cubic yards of common excavation, approximately 14,705 cubic yards of earthwork compaction, 341 linear feet of 8-inch PVC lagoon piping, 119 linear feet of 8-inch DIP lagoon piping, 1 Influent Structure, 2 Transfer Structures, 2 Distribution Manholes, 2,907 square yards of Concrete slope erosion protection on Cells 1 and 2; trenching; backfilling; over excavation; compaction; concrete work; site grading; access drive restoration and all other incidental and appurtenant work required to complete the improvements as shown and specified. Bid Security will be required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder qualifications may be required in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Contract time will be set in accordance with the Agreement. OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive irregularities in bidding. A pre-bid conference will not be held.
