Renovation of a multi-residential development in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Lawrence-Douglas County Housing Authority will receive sealed bids for Electrical Panel Replacement at 1600 Haskell Ave. The scope of work and work requested for sealed bid is for replacement of approximately 101 individual electrical panels in family units 56 (2) bedroom units, 35 (3) bedroom units and 10 (4) bedroom units. Panels are all 100 amp located in hallway or near washer and dryer area, all should be removed including covers, main breaker and lugs. All circuit breakers shall be replaced with new 15-20 amp breakers, some updating to wiring may be required. All panels should include grounding as well as GFCI breakers for areas with water sources. Work to be completed by buildings on property and will need to be completed during the working hours of 8 am- 4 pm Monday through Friday. Contractors will be required to obtain any and all permits necessary for code compliance. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than 5% of the amount of the bid. The bid guarantee may be a certified check, bank draft or bid bond secured by a surety company acceptable to the US Government. Successful bidder shall furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price, prior to execution of the contract. Question Deadline 07/24/2025 Bidder must request information at least 7 days before bid opening. The Lawrence-Douglas County Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities or informalities therein.
