On-Call Fiber Installation & Repair Services The City of Lawrence, Kansas is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call construction services for fiber repair and installation along with associated street, sidewalk, and restoration services. The firms selected shall enter into an On Call Contractor Services Agreement for the services with an initial term of two (2) years, with the possibility of three (3) additional one-year renewals. There may be multiple contracts awarded. Contracts are non-exclusive and the award of a contract is not a guarantee of work. A typical project to be performed by the contractor will include the following steps: The city prepares fiber repair and installation plans/ instructions, splice charts, designs leveraging GIS Data, One-Call Information, and standard technical specifications/details. The contractor reviews plans/instructions and prepares a project cost estimate based upon the unit costs within the Cost Proposal as well as anticipated subcontracted work. City and Contractor execute a Task Order for the identified scope of work (see Attachment A). Contractor performs construction activities in coordination with the City's ROW and Fiber Manager and Inspector to the Project Specifications. Invoices for Task Orders (TO) must be itemized using the items on the Price Proposal. Lump Sum invoices will be rejected. definite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ).
