Site work and renovation of a civil project in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be done under this contract includes: The abandonment of Pump Station 50, including installation of a manhole over existing city interceptor for the purpose of rerouting the stations influent gravity main. The abandonment of Pump Station 50, including installation of doghouse manhole over existing city interceptor for the purpose of rerouting the station's influent gravity main, filling and abandonment of existing forcemain including air release valve, and demolition of existing pump station to a depth of 5 feet below grade including concrete drive and pavement. Remaining structures will be filled with CDF or flowable fill as specified in the Project Drawings, with top soil provided as required to match existing grade. These areas will be seeded, fertilized, and mulched. Items within demolition area to be salvaged are listed on the Project Drawings.
