Renovation of an educational facility in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 91,900-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
The project consists of a 91,900 SF renovation. This is a bid packaged project. Please reference the MCP Build, Inc. Construction Manager Manual for all bidding information. A specific Scope of Work (SOW) has been issued for the work remaining. All bids are to be submitted on MCP Group Bid Form. Please review all construction documents thoroughly. Bid Bonds are NOT required. Payment and Performance Bonds are to be provided as an add on the bid form This Scope of Work specifically includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Provide all selective demolition per the drawings. 2. Include haul off and disposal of all demolished materials. 3. Include necessary floor and wall sawcutting. Take care to sawcut the existing slab, as the concrete will be the finished surface. 4. At masonry wall sawcutting, include toothing of masonry as necessary. Masonry install by others. 5. At exterior west parapet, remove existing copings, and any loose block directed by the site superintendent. 6. Includes salvaging and protecting materials as required. 7. Provide unit prices per the bid form. 8. Remove sidewalk at north and west side of the building per the drawings. Protect adjacent asphalt paving.
