Site work for a municipal facility in Topeka, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
Shawnee County Solid Waste (SCSWD) is soliciting sealed bids for the removal and replacement of existing concrete sections and the installation of new reinforced concrete sections at the Household Hazardous Waste facility. The work to be accomplished on this project consists of two phases. Phase 1 will be on the south section of the building. Removal and replacement of an existing slab and two adjacent new slabs. Phase 2 will be the remainder of the east sidewalk (approx. 100 feet) and a new concrete slab on the northwest corner of the building. Phase 1 1. On the south side, Remove existing concrete slab (as shown as area 1) and replace with 40' X 42' concrete slab and two 20' X 20' concrete slabs on the east and west ends (as shown as area 2 and 3). Phase 2 1. On the northwest side of the building prepare subgrade, place a 20' X 20' (as shown as Area 1). 2. On the east side, remove and replace approximately 8' X 100' (as shown as Area 2). All questions regarding this RFP should be submitted through the Shawnee County Online Bid Portal. The last day to submit questions: July 23, 2025 by 5:00 pm (local time).
