The City of Lamar is requesting sealed Statements of Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified engineering firms for design and construction inspection services related to its Downtown Revitalization project. RFQ Questions: Questions associated with the RFQ will be submitted to Rusty Rives in writing and emailed to rrives@lamarmo.gov between June 30 and July 31 2025 by 10:00 a.m. Phone calls will not be accepted. This project is to be funded in part by the Missouri Department of Economic Development through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. Project Scope For the purpose of completing a CDBG grant the scope of work is to complete and draft a Preliminary Engineering Report for downtown infrastructure improvements such as Sidewalk and pedestrian upgrades Streetscape enhancements Lighting and signage improvements Stormwater management improvements. Utility coordination and ADA compliance Structural improvement and modifications All work must comply with applicable state and federal CDBG requirements. Withdraw: Submissions may be withdrawn personally or by written request at any time prior to the scheduled due date and time.
