LOCATION 2.1. City of Lamar, Barton County, Missouri at the location shown on the drawings. 3. ACCESS 3.1. Secure al necessary permits from the respective authorities necessary to complete construction. SUMMARY OF WORK 5.1. Base Bid work generaly consists of the instalation of 505 LF of 6" diameter C900 PVC water line, service taps, water service line, misce laneous appurtenances, and the isolation and capping of existing water line to be abandoned in place as show on the drawings and described in these specifications. Al work indicated on the drawings and described in the specifications is to be performed unless deleted by Owner's change order. RELATED DOCUMENTS 6.1. Drawings are included as part of this specification. Insta lation sha l be per the construction drawings, supplemented as necessary by any applicable construction details. 6.2. Locate al existing underground instalations, including service connections, in advance of excavating or trenching, by contacting the owners thereof, prospecting, and the use of 811 and other appropriate locating services. 6.3. Al damage to existing private and/or municipal utilities or improvements, including, but not limited to signs, mailboxes, buildings, trees, and property, sha l be repaired, including the cost of al required materials, labor, and equipment. A l repairs shal be made as authorized by the owner of the utility and/or party involved and in compliance with al jurisdictional requirements. Repair and/or replacement cost sha l be considered incidental to the performance and perfection of the contract. SCHEDULING OF WORK 7.1. Schedule al work, including location of utilities, coordinate with appropriate jurisdictional agencies. FIELD ENGINEERING 8.1. Furnish vertical and horizontal control staking as necessary for the execution of the work, as shown on the drawings. Modifications to avoid unknown or mislocated facilities are to be expected. 8.2. Avoid disturbing existing markers and property corners, and if disturbed, corners must be re-established by a Registered Land Surveyor.
