Renovation of a library in Melrose, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
As of August 28, 2025 project is not awarded yet. The work includes the disconnection of two existing ACCU units, relocation of the units and associated piping from the ground to the roof, and reconnection of both units, and expansion of existing roof mounted acoustical screen, using new and repurposed screen material plus additional free-standing acoustical barrier, as called out in the drawings and specifications. Each BID shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price. A 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond will be required. This project requires minimum prevailing wages. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed (120) days from the date of the opening of the bids, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded, for the purpose of reviewing the bids. The Awarding Authority will select a contract should we have a tie bid. The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive informalities, to reject any and all bids, and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Awarding Authority. Awarding of this project is subject to Awarding Authority approval.
