Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a mixed-use development in Melrose, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; for asbestos abatement for a residential development; and water / sewer project.

Work includes: new finishes and cabinetry, painting, plumbing, electrical, new heating systems, new electrical service, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, lead remediation. Site work at 969 Main St. includes a new water line from the street and new underground electrical service. Reconstruct an exterior wood-framed stair and new concrete walkway in the back yard. Sub Bid Category Painting, Plumbing, Heating / Ventilating / Air-Conditioning (HVAC), Electrical Work Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Project consists of but not limited to: Interior renovations to vacant units at 489 Lebanon St and 969 Main St. Both units are upper floors of 2-family wood-framed houses. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 11/14/2025 at 5:00PM EST for filed sub-bid Both units are upper floors of 2-family wood-framed houses. Both units are vacant but first floor units are occupied. An exterior wood-framed stair will be rebuilt and a concrete walkway and site lighting added to the rear yard. There are alternates for a wood fence in the rear yard at 969 Main St and the reconstruction of an entry porch at the rear of 489 Lebanon. RFI's for filed sub bids will be accepted via biddocs.com until Friday, 11/28 at 5:00PM.
