Project Description: Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: This is a facade improvement project for an existing building in Downtown Minot. The scope of work will contain all facades of the buildings' exterior and will involve restoration and new material application of the existing masonry trim and stucco, replacement of several designated windows, and work indicated in the Contract Documents. The owner intends to utilize the downtown Minot Facade Improvements Program for the project. Location- 108 E Burdick Expressway Minot, ND 58701 Bids not fully complying with the requirements of North Dakota Century Code Chapter 48-01.2 will not be read or considered. Any deficient bid will be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the Bidder's contractor's license and bid security. The Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid. Bid security in the form of a bidder's bond shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Substantial Completion is indicated Section 00 7400 Special Conditions. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
